United Exploration, LLC is an independent oil and gas company located in Grapevine, Texas.  We actively participate in the drilling and development of proven oil and gas fields in an effort to generate long term income.​

The United management team has participated in the development of over 150 wells from North Dakota to the Texas Gulf Coast. Our experienced team has been able to give our partners the opportunity to participate in low risk, developmental drilling projects with huge upside potential.

Jacob Jackson, CEO

CEO of United Exploration, LLC, earned his bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2008, where he distinguished himself both academically and athletically. As a senior in 2007, Jake was named Second Team All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), in addition to earning ABCA All-Region First Team honors and twice being selected to the All-American Southwest Conference East Division team.

Over the course of his collegiate career, Jackson played in 94 games, compiling an impressive .382 batting average with 142 hits, 28 doubles, three triples, and 85 RBIs. He still holds the UT Dallas single-season batting average record after hitting .440 in 2007.  A record that has been standing for the last 18 years and counting. During the 2006 and 2007 seasons, he helped lead the Comets to a combined 67–27 record and a berth in the 2007 NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. In recognition of his achievements, Jackson became just the fourth baseball player in UT Dallas history to be inducted into the UT Dallas Hall of Honors.

Shortly after graduation, Jake launched his professional career in the oil and gas industry, managing and deploying private equity investments in the North Dakota Bakken Shale and the prolific East Texas Woodbine. After three years in the industry, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations for a Dallas-based exploration group. In that role, he played an integral part in the successful drilling and completion of more than 20 wells within the SCOOP/STACK play of Central Oklahoma. Notably, 100% of the Oklahoma prospects drilled during his tenure were successfully completed, with many continuing to generate consistent monthly revenue for investors to this day.

Morgan O'Neal, President

Morgan O'Neal serves as the President of United Exploration, LLC, bringing nearly 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. A native of the Dallas/Fort Worth Area, Morgan's interests extend to his family, the outdoors, and his role as a husband and father.

In 2010, Morgan embarked on his career in the oil and gas sector, co-founding United Exploration, LLC in 2015. Over the years, he has played a significant role in financing, drilling, and developing more than 250 oil and gas wells across various regions. These include the Anadarko, Delaware, Williston, and Fort Worth Basins, the Haynesville Shale in Louisiana, and the Woodbine and Austin Chalk Trends in Southeast Texas. Morgan's ability to spot promising investments and maintain strong industry connections has contributed to United Exploration's ongoing success.

As President, Morgan is responsible for identifying and underwriting investment opportunities and negotiating acquisitions.  His leadership style emphasizes humility and dedication, ensuring that United Exploration, LLC is well-positioned for future growth and innovation.
